Amyloid and Tau PET Scan Research Study

Healthy, normal volunteers needed for a study of brain protein deposits that commonly occur with normal aging. This study involves 4 PET scans, 1 MRI scan, and cognitive testing. The scans are 30-120 minutes in length and the cognitive testing can last up to 2 hours.

Study takes place at the main MGH and MGH Charlestown Navy Yard campuses. Volunteers will receive payment up to $600 for completion of this study and will be compensated for meals and parking expenses.

In order to take part, you must:

  • Be between 21-100 years of age
  • Be in good general health (with no history of exposure to head trauma)
  • Not be pregnant
