Blood Donors Needed

May 5, 2020

Hospitals continue to encourage healthy individuals to donate blood and platelets during COVID-19. Donations are crucial for keeping the blood supply strong and sustainable. Donating blood is considered an essential activity under the Governor’s stay at home order. Individuals can make an appointment with the Red Cross, which supplies blood to hospitals throughout the state or can contribute directly at Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
