Are you having memory problems or trouble thinking clearly? Have you been diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) or mild dementia due to Alzheimer’s disease (early AD)? Are you interested in participating in a clinical trial to help better understand how to slow the progression of Alzheimer’s disease and to evaluate an investigational treatment for individuals with early AD?
The Tango Study is evaluating the safety, dosing, and effectiveness of an investigational medication designed to target the tau protein, which is one of the key proteins that builds up in the brain and contributes to cognitive decline. The sponsor for this study is biogen pharmaceutical company.
You may be eiligible for the TANGO study if you:
- Are age 50-80
- Are experiencing problems with memory or thinking clearly that might be related to MCI or mild dementia due to AD.
- Have a study partner who knows you well and can attend certain visits with you and tell us about your health and well-being.
