How is Alzheimer’s Disease Diagnosed? (Presented in Spanish)

Join Dr. Cinthya Aguero-Murillo to learn what imaging and biomarkers are. She will explain the evolution of imaging technology and how it is used to diagnose Alzheimer’s disease. Dr. Aguero-Murillo will discuss the foundation of positron emission tomography (PET) scans, other types of imaging, and the critical role they play in dementia research. Dr. Aguero-Murillo will be joined by a current research study participant who will talk about what it’s like to be in a study.
