VJ & Chuck is a short film that captures the impact of frontotemporal degeneration from the perspective of the person diagnosed.
Although FT has affected VJ Anastasia’s movement, behavior and ability to communicate — forcing her and her husband Chuck to restructure their entire lives — she and Chuck draw strength from their nearly 40-year-long bond.
The film, based on interviews with VJ and Chuck, other perons diagnosed and their loved ones, captures the progression of dementia in haunting fashion.
