Orett C. Burke

Orett C. Burke Jr. is an Outreach and Research Assistant II in the Department of Neurology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital. However, after graduating from The University of Massachusetts Amherst with a bachelor’s in biology, he began working at CART as a clinical research assistant.

In this role, he attended to research participants in observational studies and clinical trials. After two years, Orett wanted to spend more time educating diverse communities about Alzheimer’s disease dementia and prevention, so he took a position with the outreach and education team at CART.

Besides his outreach efforts, Orett supports clinicians at BWH and MGH through various projects. With this experience, Orett intends to continue community outreach in the future as he plans on attending medical school.
