Sergio Ramirez-Salazar, MD is a Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry fellow at BWH Center for Brain Mind Medicine. He completed his residency in Neurology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. He earned his medical degree at Universidad de La Sabana, Colombia.

His clinical and research interest is focused on understanding the effect of social determinants of heath on cognition and implementing effective lifestyle and non-pharmacological interventions in underserved Latino population, especially understanding the role of healthy nutrition as a protective factor for cognitive decline. He is also interested in expanding participation of underserved minorities in clinical trials.
