Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Stephanie Langella is a postdoctoral research fellow at the Multicultural Alzheimer’s Prevention Program (MAPP) at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). She completed her undergraduate degree at Washington University in St. Louis and received her PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, focusing on the cognitive neuroscience of aging.

Her research focuses on preclinical markers of Alzheimer’s disease, combining human neuroimaging with behavioral measures. Using these methods, her main research interests are in identifying 1) biomarkers for preclinical Alzheimer’s disease and 2) underlying mechanisms of cognitive and neuropsychiatric changes in dementia. Her work is currently funded by the Alzheimer’s Association.
